Thanks, Paul. I can’t thank you enough for all your advice. I will not replace the fuse size.
Here is my setup that I am looking to finalize.
I am thinking about buying a Fora DCC-70HS and a professional monitor for color correction and to make real-time adjustments. I haven’t bought them yet; they are next on the list, good idea?
What do you think? Will this setup result in good picture quality? Will there be sync issues with audio?
I also have a Mitsubishi HS-MD3000E-T with TBC, and the picture quality is brilliant. It’s a bit sharp, but the quality is excellent.
SETUP:
- VHS (JVC VCR S VHS SR-S388E) – S VIDEO OUT to
- S VIDEO IN (FS1) – SDI OUT to
- SDI IN (Fora DCC-70HS) – SDI OUT to
- SDI IN (AJA Ki Pro HD/SD Video Recorder)
For the audio:
- JVC Video Machine RCA Audio Out to RCA to XLR Male Analog Audio Adapter.
- XLR Male Analog Audio Adapter to Van Damme DB25 to 8x Female XLR Cable.
- DB25 Cable to FS1 Analog Audio In.
To add the professional monitor:
- SDI OUT (Fora DCC-70HS) to SDI IN (Professional Monitor) using a 75 Ohm BNC Cable.
- SDI OUT (Professional Monitor) to SDI IN (AJA Ki Pro HD/SD Video Recorder) using another 75 Ohm BNC Cable.
