  • [tommmm] “I can’t for the life of me find my AE CD to reinstall.”

Not to worry. Just call Adobe and give them your serial number and they’ll help you get a replacement disc.

Adobe is very good about this kind of thing. They want to keep their good customers coming back, after all.

Trying to run AE on a 13″ MacBook is like filing down your own teeth without using a pain-killer.

    You can do it, but…why?

A big and expensive one. One with at least a 17″ screen. One with lots of RAM and the best graphics board that money can buy.

Short of that, figure it isn’t going to work.

Adobe said NOT to use it on Intel Macs as it WASN’T WRITTEN for use on the Intel Macs and that the emulation WOULD slow it down to a crawl and what part of this didn’t you understand???

    RTFM,

  • The article has a link to a thread that has been going on the Cow’s After Effects forum, Walter, and in the thread even the chief architect behind Gridiron Nucleo Pro is impressed at the solution for those that haven’t been able to get AE7 to really work.

If you don’t want to buy Trish & Chris’s book, you can watch Aharon’s podcast tutorial in which he goes through project management and folder and naming strategies. It’s a class that you would pay a lot of money to attend at a conference and it’s a free podcast.
