I just experienced this issue. Under “Sequence” I went into “Render All” and right clicked my mouse to un-check the “Full” selection. Not sure why, but when I rendered it, it was fine.

Under “Sequence” in the upper bar, I went to “Render All” and right clicked on “Full” to take off the checkmark. I’m going to assume, but I don’t know, that there’s a compatibility issue with the rendering with certain files. In my case the file I was trying to render was a Photo – JPEG video codec off of istockphoto.com. This is what worked for me.
