I’ve been studying for this and do plan to take it, but this doesn’t quite fit the “4 year degree” that many of the jobs I’m looking into require. What is the degree that I should be working towards? Graphics design doesn’t quite fit the bill of motion graphics (though it helps I’m sure) so I’m just confused as to what degrees actually encompass and help with After Effects. Design and multimedia? Animation? Film production in general?

Have you done an actual test export of the project or your described section of the project?
Sometimes, in my experience, the pre-exported timeline playback didn’t show the images as full quality unti export.
