Okay my bad  let me just try and reiterate what I was trying to say before. Okay so I set up my camera on a tripod and had my actor acted as if he waslifting his arms up and examining basically imaginary clothing. Now the first take of this was done with him wearing a red shirt as seen in the photos I included. The second time I had him stand in the exact same sopt with the tripod not moved at all doing the same exact movements but this time wearing a camo jacket. Then what I did was I put both of footage over each other in after effects. The camo jacket footage was placed on the top and the red T-shirt footage  was placed on the bottom. I then  put a mask around the camo jacket and then match this up with the movements from the red T-shirt layer. I then added a second mask to the camo jacket and set it to subtract and animated it to reveal the camo jacket from the sleeves. After that what we have is a person standing there with a red T-shirt on lifting his arms up and as he does so a camo jacket is  animated onto him. Now what I’m trying to do is essentially we just have to layers overtop each other at some point I want to cut both of those layers and make them appear as if they’re all part of the camo jacket footage I’m trying to transition one video clip I’ve made  at some point and attach it to another part of another video clip and basically do this without the viewer noticing that I’ve done this I want them to think that it’s all one video clip and that it was all one take and do this smoothly lol

i know its to late now but i also had to do this recently and i exported mine from after effects using H.64 and what should have been like a 3 GB video file was only about 7 mb

  • Fixed it! I had one photoshop named example photoshop pt 1 and another as photoshop pt 2 and for some reason after effect put them into a sequence annamation file of two frames wierd

  • How would I upload it here ?

  • So how do I get the file working ? As still frames and not as frames

  • Yes it works fine just the files are missing I guess I will try that but I’m more concerned on why they are not importing as still images ?

  • All layers in the photoshop composition are missing I double click one select the photoshop file and try and chose one layer in that comp to replace the missing one it then imports as a 2 frame layer not a still image but it’s still in photoshop there’s no animations done in photoshop. I see no sequence check box or anything like that
