Hi Cassius,

I have no idea how long it takes for mid project frames. i’m a newbee in AE so don’t have so much knowledge. where can i see how long it takes?
all i see when i try to render is a pop up saying it will be 10 hours.

The way I extract just the audio from a video is probably not very professional but its rather easy and still sounds good.
just play the video on youtube and click the record button in audition.
you’ll have to go first into your computers recording devices and select Stereo Mix so it records it without outside noise but like you’d hear it if you had earphones in.
then just record it and it should work.
i did that once for a song and it sounded pretty good.

hope it helps and there probably are far better ways to do this than i know. 🙂

I just clicked the 480p youtube size and then said encode and that was it. do i first have to encode it and then also export it?

With Camtasia i wasn’t capturing the screen but editing video from my camera.
I don’t need TV definition, i’m just creating little howto art videos for youtube.
Our internet is 3MB/second and usually it is ok speed.
Is there a way to make the file size smaller than it is without having it become dreadful quality?
