“NOT JUMPING” BUT SUSPENDED

I’ve used a sequence of frames showing “top of jump or skip.” This method created a jerky but similar flying effect. However HEAD HEIGHT was never stable. Some jumps were higher than others.

In long and med shots of this “BE STRONG” video the actor’s head height is consistent. I’d say he looks suspended and he’s performing more of a jerky “twist” than a jump.

I found Google links saying video used FINAL CUT. Director Oliver Goodrum was quoted, “CLAIRE McGONIGAL had a long painful task of editing the whole mess together.”

I think she and the team did an awesome job!
