    I’ll definitely have to look into that. What I ended up doing for the test (real work is yet to come) is mask the element and place it into the clip. Export the whole as a movie. Reimport the move then add a circle blur to the part I wanted to defocus (For some reason the circle blur wasn’t “popping” like every other blur I tried)

    it seems as if any blur, even when set to all zero’s, is affecting my masked element pretty severely. does this make sense?

    I am, i don’t seem to notice much if any difference from where it starts at amount 4.0 to amount 0.0 then it goes to amount 0 and pops

    Yeah That helped a lot as well, that and went through them all and made sure the verticle position was an even number as someone else suggested, made a world of difference. Thank you for your time.
