I noticed this problem once I upgraded soundtrack to Pro and it required QT7. I could not go back to 6.X since I am in the middle of a huge project. However, the Mixdown solved the problem ( funny that I have used mixdown before and just forgot all about it!)

Any other details on your system? What version of QT, Soundtrack, etc….
