I’ve converted the audio to match the setting in FCP and the camcorder audio but I’m still getting the same issue…?

thanks, do you know how i can fix this without changing the other audio?

i’m using .wav files.
i’m trying to match up the waveforms from the microphone audio to the camera audio, however the waveforms on the microphone audio which is a .wav file is not in sync with itself…if there is a loud sound and i can see it on the track as high waveforms i actually hear it before the head gets to that part. is this clearer?
