Brock Burwell

My name is Brock Burwell and I am a 26 year old graduate of West Virginia University.

I graduated from WVU in 2010 with a Bachelor's in Multidisciplinary Studies and graduated again from WVU in May with my Master's in Athletic Coaching Education.

I have interned with the WVU Sports Marketing Department helping increase awareness and attendance of the WVU Olympic Sports.

I also interned at the WVU Athletic Department under Terri Howes assisting with the Big East/Big 12 transition.

I currently work with the West Virginia Secretary of States office as a Business and Licensing Specialist under Natalie Tennant. Here, I not only assist business owners form and amend their organizations, but I have also created, developed and presented office wide policy change.

I also am the Marketing Coordinator at The Open Door where I have developed a successful strategy to reach out to the demographics of our city.

I have worn many hats in my career- photographer, marketer, videographer, public relations rep, srategist, salesman, etc. But actual experience has taught me that my professional career boils down to the following:

-I don't care who gets the credit. I just want to be successful.

-I have BIG ideas

-Lots of people have BIG ideas. Execution is what matters and I do execution.

-I am the logical thinker

-I am the calm one.

-I run toward fires.
