    I have a big ol’ problem and I was wondering if you could help….

    I can not open final cut pro 5.04 for some reason. Sounds unrealated, huh?! Well, what brings me here is a crash log. I googled it, and here I am. It may be similar to the problem you were having, or you may just be code-minded enough to help me or know someone who is.

    This is the error log:
    “===== Tuesday, August 30, 2005 5:30:22 PM America/Detroit =====
    dyld: Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/Accelerate.framework/Versions/A/Accelerate
    Referenced from: /Applications/Final Cut Pro.app/Contents/MacOS/Final Cut Pro
    Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:
    /System/Library/Frameworks/Accelerate.framework/Versions/A/Accelerate: unknown file type, first eight bytes: 0x46 0x4F 0x52 0x4D 0x00 0x0A 0x08 0x02
    /System/Library/Frameworks/Accelerate.framework/Versions/A/Accelerate: unknown file type, first eight bytes: 0x46 0x4F 0x52 0x4D 0x00 0x0A 0x08 0x02

    Aug 30 17:30:28 Video-Editing-Booth crashdump[350]: crash report written to: /Users/johnmsadowski/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Final Cut Pro.crash.log”

    I also recall getting AE failure errors when I was trying to get into Final Cut Pro, just before it began doing this instacrash routine, and Motion and iChat are also crashing right away, and I don’t know why.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Brian
