I have the same computer. It doesn’t have this problem, but it does have some idiosyncrasies (once a day it stops downloading or uploading files and has to be restarted). I do see that the MacBooks have a dual output audio, and that occasionally software will recognize something like the headphone output as a “separate playback engine”.

Members of this Avid forum seemed to re-route the situation with Rogue Omega Loopback, although they are working with ProTools: with https://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=411386

Hello Anni! Could you give us an example? I usually use the Clone tool to carefully blot out most unwanted objects such as lines, replacing them with the correct nearby colors, then perhaps smoothing things over with the Blur tool. But it would be helpful to see what you are working with since each situation requires its own “finesse”.
