Looks like I’m a little late on this thread but am just researching the external evf deal for my new 7D, so thought I’d weigh in.

I just read up on this Zacuto product today…

Has lots of features, maybe too many for the novice, but it looks awesome with a loop included and a price point of $675.

DSLR accessories are getting better and better all the time.
