I’m having the exact same error, and its upsetting, because the entire import of 100GB for a project stops until you click the stupid error popup.

“The following clip encountered an error during import and is still referencing media on the camera:”

After the import, the file actually seems fine too.

My workflow:

copy files, with folder structure from 5DMKII to external HD.

use the “new” (but crappy) import tool in FCPX.

get error while importing…

not sure why, there is no camera to reference, the files are from the HD.

I’ve beeen digging FCPX for DSLR workflow until this version. The batch export (share monitor) was nice too. Now, I share many projects in a row and I cant see where a list of those is.. even though it does get them rendered and uploaded.
