    That’s great, I really appreciate it

    Once I’ve adjusted the default transition duration –

    Is there any way that I can apply that ‘in one go’ to the hundreds of images in my timeline sequence?

    Or do I have to click on the join between each image pairing to apply the adapted dissolve?

    Hi

    No, I just imported it directly from the memory card.

    However, I have just found out that the error was all mine (of course)

    The XML file had nothing to do with the sound, as this was included in the XMF file.

    Premiere Pro was creating an audio time lag as it ‘rendered’ each clip brought into the project …

    Someone very kindly put me straight on this and thank you for replying to my post.
