The files behave properly in Safari when I’m using HTML 5 to play the video back. HTML 5 doesn’t work for me in the latest version of Firefox.

I guess i’ll instruct my clients to use Safari and HTML 5 for now.

I’m still very interested in learning how to automate a relative path for proxies created in different software.

    Thanks,
    Brad

    Thanks Bryson, enjoy your honeymoon.

How would I automate the proxy path if Catdv or worker didn’t create the proxy?

I’m using .mov Thats what our sources usually are. I don’t see how to change the container within QT pro or CatDv? We use both the worker and Catdv Pro to create the proxies. I have the issue with both.

    Thanks for the reply,

I see. Thanks for the reply. So can anyone offer advise if I do want to send the files off to another site. Which type of xml or batch file would be most useful for another facility that uses Sound miner, Itunes or even Spotlight? Any 3rd party software that I could import all Metadata, from catdv, and then create embedded .wav’s?

    Thanks,
    Brad

Just so you know, Final Cut’s omf will always say its 24fps even if your sequence is at 23.976. I always have to ask and usually if its not film it will be 23.976.
