This is a 5 year old problem, but I found it while Googling it for myself. For posterity and whatever it’s worth, you can copy and pasted the x and y coordinates separately. To do so, in the graph editor hit the “Separated Dimensions” button with both layers position revealed. Copy and paste the x and y keyframes. Because they may not exactly line up, use the graph editor to adjust the values by selecting all keyframes, making sure you’re in “Value Edit” view, and lift and lower the keyframes until it lines up.
