I am currently a Junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems at Illinois State University, with an interest in business analytics careers.
Reflecting on the evolving world of IT, I have recognized the caliber of change in our society at today’s day in age, and realized the importance of optimizing a business to its fullest potential. Through interning at Dell EMC, I derived leadership skills that not only apply to the building blocks of change in the context of the IT world, but that embrace future technologies as a testament to optimizing a business in any capacity.
The importance for companies to transform their mode of operations and leverage emerging technologies is critical to stay competitive in every industry and market. After the opportunity of working at Dell EMC, I attained experience across financial analysis, relationship networking, and technology leverage that can help companies determine what, how, and why to transform. I learned how people, process, and technology come together to help identify business and technical requirements that align to recommended solutions. Most importantly, working together on a team of resources was a critical success factor in pursuing and achieving our goals.
