I’m sorry Jerry Hofmann, you’re close, but not entirely correct. First, place the text track underneath the video track and clip that you want to appear through the text. Next, select the video clip and choose Modify>Composite>Travel Matte – Alpha. BAM! The video should now appear through the text.
