Well then Vegas Tech Support have been guiding me wildly.

I actually think you were trying to help me out with the question regarding my QT no video import issue in another thread.

I initially had QT version 7.6.2 (didn’t work), I was told to roll back to 7.5.5 (didn’t work) then they told me a new version came out that fixed a lot of bugs and to update to that – 7.6.7 (didn’t work)

Per my other thread response, I don’t beleive they make QT specifically for 64-bit. There’s just WIN or MAC etc… THere’s no where to specify what bit software to D/L.

I understand where you’re coming from, and I get it’s a delivery format (not suggested for editing) but currently Vegas won’t import the video of my Master High Res file (QT), and I need to pull a clip from the footage and figured the MPEG would be fine.

Thanks for the tsMuxeR suggestion, great tool to be introduced to, I appreciate that. Unfortunately however when I try to import the file the software says “Can’t detect stream type”, so I guess there’s something else wrong.
