I used the default bit rate for Sony AVC Internet 1920×1080-30p which is 16,000,000 bps. What other bit rate do you suggest?

Is there an explanation why this motion problem occurs when video is rendered progressive and DOES NOT occur when video is rendered with “Upper field first”? I have uploaded to Cow the video “YouTube Test 22.mp4” rendered with “Upper field first”. If you play the two videos full screen with Windows Media Player, you should see the difference. How would this be related to rolling shutter?

More information! The YouTube Test 19 MP4 was rendered in Vegas 10 using the Sony AVC Internet 1920×1080-30p preset unchanged. The resulting video shows severe motion problem when played here on Windows Media Player and when played on YouTube.

When the exact same project(with Interpolation deinterlacing in both cases) is rendered using Sony AVC Internet 1920×1080-30p preset WITH THE FIELD ORDER CHANGED TO “Upper Field First”, then the resulting video plays here on WMP without any motion problem. But when uploaded to YouTube we still have the same severe motion degradation.

Does this help to understand the problem?
