Actually I just did not look far enough to the right once I clicked on edit generated media. Once I enlarged the window to the right I found the styles tab, you can change the type of font the size and color. So if anyone else needs to know that is how to do it.

    Good eye my friend,

I have attached another video. What is interesting it the extra keyframe is not there initially it only shows up when I try to change the size of the split screen layer. However the way to get it to not show up is to click on the trac motion and withing the trac motion window move the cursor and then I can adjust the size of the split screen layer, as you can see in the video.

I still do not understand why it only happens in this project and not in the others.

Either way thanks very much for your assistance. I still have more to learn about trac motion and all of its powers. Now I understand that instead of changing the size of the split screen across the whole trac I can change it at whatever points I want using multiple keyframes.

I only know a little about keyframes, from what I know they are like anchor points where you stop or start Trac Motion (I assume that you abbreviated it to TM) So I don’t know if I have them or not I Did not create them on purpose. And when you say scrub the timeline I assume that means moving the cursor along the timeline. And yes the video preview is updated as I scrub the timeline

Here is another video with two projects side by side and again I can change the size of one of the split screens but not in the other project

    Grazie,

I’m still learning SV and pretty new to this forum. Not sure of what you mean by screen grab. BUt I think you mean some video of what I’m doing on the computer screen. I saw on another thread that camtasia studio is a program that can do this. I am downloading it and when I figure out how to use it, I will upload a video. That is after I figure out how to do that also.

    Thanks for the reply

As long as your intentions are not to do anything illegal then the DVD ripper program itself is not illegal. I am new to this forum and I’m not sure about the rules. there is a program that I use to make copies of DVDs that I have purchased that works quite well. If you are interested I can give you the name but I want to make sure it is within the rules of this forum before I do so. Can a moderator let me know if it OK or how can a member of the forum send another member a private message

    Rob,

Thanks for getting me up to speed on the Docking issue. I figured it was a simple fix. I really appreciate your response.
