    Thanks Dave. This is actually a problem I was having in Premiere Pro 2.0, not sure why my post was copied in the AE forum.

    Your advice is good but I did capture the shots individually and removed the pulldown from each one separately.

    I ended up just recapturing the footage and replacing it on the timeline, which seemed to fix it. One interesting thing: when I watch the clips outside of Premiere in Windows Media Player, the problem is not apparent. I guess that’s either because the Media Player deinterlaces the footage (it should be progressive to begin with, I don’t get it) or the problem isn’t actually there, it’s just showing up in Premiere’s preview and program windows for some reason. I’m pretty new to all this and don’t have an external monitor setup – I know, that’s the way to go to be sure.

    Thanks. Having it come closer to the camera will definitely enhance the effect.
