I have been able to do this in the past, but I need 4 independent speakers. All the speakers are on after rendering.

I know this is actually Surround Sound and the XDCAM format does not support Surround Sound. I can use the single stereo application to achieve half of my goal. I was just wondering if you know of any other fix.

Do you have any ideas on how to add 4 seperate audio channels to an XDCAM EX format?

I am not using the audio in the traditional sense; so quality is not important, but sepearate signals are required.

The final project will however be put on BluRay Discs.

My problem is that I must render in XDCAM EX (MP4) using an HQ 1280×720-60P. 35 Mbps VBR Template for specialized video playback.

Is there any way to render the video with AC3 surround sound with this criteria?

The rendering settings were as follows:

Multichannel mapping is enabled
Template: HQ 1280×720-60p. 35 Mbps VBR
Description: Audio 48,000 Hz 16 Bit (MAC), Mono, PCM
Channel Mapping: Mono downmix (Bus A, B, C, D)
Number of Channels: 4
Include Audio Box Checked

Can anyone recommend a commercial editing firm that can take my 720/60p AVCHD edited videos and render them at 35mbps?
