I could “window” v10 B1. It would seem v10 B2 can’t be windowed.

i’m getting a lot of random crashes with v10b, too.
i can load some footage on the timeline, then, when i hit ‘play’, suddenly resolve is gone. -
I have a mini monitor. Yes, it does pass thru the audio signal. However, if your monitor doesn’t have speakers, obviously you won’t get any audio. My solution is to buy an inexpensive HDMI audio disembedder. You can run the audio out of the disembedder into a separate set of audio amps and speakers.

That’s fine….but, if you have trouble with Media Composer, you’re on your own.

I’m running the BMDMM. It does pass thru audio to whatever device can disembed the audio signal from the video. I bought at $58 HDMI audio disembedder, which I then feed to my speaker amplifier system. Works the bomb!
Disclaimer: This assumes you’re using the sdi port, so HDMI is free. If not, the audio disembedder will pass thru the HDMI video signal to feed the monitor.
