So I spoke to the producer, and they want three of my clips, for a price close to the $65 a second mark as recommended by David.

They want to license the clips for one year, for use in just one internet video.
He said he’d be sending me a purchase order.
Should the licensing agreement be written within the purchase order, or separate?

I don’t think my footage is rare, it’s actually just some handheld footage I took while on vacation. Not an exotic location neither. I’m guessing it would just save them the cost of sending a crew out?

Forgot to ask,

I edit mostly 30p and 60p footage,
will either the Intensity Pro, or MXO2 output progressive to my crt monitor?

I’ve read that the MXO2 outputs a 10-bit signal, vs. the Intensity Pro’s 8-bit.
How exactly will that impact the signal I see on my monitor? More color space? Better accuracy?

Is getting the MXO2 the better option based on that?

Thanks everyone for helping me out, I definitely care about quality and don’t mind spending the money to get the better product.
I learned early on not to skimp and cut corners with gear, but I don’t want to throw money away either.

I know AJA Kona makes quality stuff, but I believe their least expensive option is about $1000, right?

I am hoping to get a quality signal to my monitor for less than that…
