I’m using the MainConcept MPEG-2 “Blu-ray 1920 x 1080-50i, 25 Mbps, MPEG-2 video stream” template. Are you using the “Blu-ray 1440 x 1080-60i MPEG-2 video stream” template or the HDV 1080-60i template? I haven’t tried the HDV setting since I’m using AVCHD files. My files from the SR12 are recorded in the highest FH 1920 x 1080 quality so I have been selecting settings for 1920 x 1080. Should I leave the setting as Upper Field First?

    Thanks again for your advice.

Thanks for your help. I changed the file extension on the files to .mpg as you suggested but I’m still having the same problem. I’ve just done some more tests tonight and the same thing is still happening – they play perfectly on PowerDVD but I get the corrupted file message through the PS3. The files from Vegas have the .m2v file extension but I’ve tried changing to .mpg, .m2ts and .m2t and all give the “Corrupted Data” message.

The PS3 plays the original files from the SR12 (.m2ts)without any problems.

I also tried changing the video stream setting from 25 Mbps to 16 Mbps to match the camcorder’s bit rate but that made no difference either.
