Well, copying my sequence into a new project didn’t seem to make a difference. I ended up making independent subclips of all of the clips in my sequence I needed to redigitize, and replaced them back into my sequence. And that worked. It saved some time and saved lots of drive space, but obviously not recommended for larger projects (it was only a couple dozen clips, thankfully). Next time I’ll use media manager to consolidate my sequences before I take them offline. Thanks to John Pale and Onomontopeka for their help!

Sorry, I don’t think that would help, in fact I want to avoid redigitizing those clips in their entirety. I have a sequence that’s 5 minutes long and I don’t want to redigitize 5 hours worth of video to get it back online.

    Any other thoughts?
