The only solution I have found is to change the date of the computer to before 11/6 when the time change occurred and batch the clips that were ingested before the time change, and then change the date back to the current date and batch the clips that were ingested after the time change.
The best way to determine is to look at the creation date of the proxy files in the Capture scratch folder.

I have tried adjusting the timecode in FCP and through a metadata editor but both result in clips that can not be re-ingested correctly. Still looking for a fix.

BTW, Canon support looked into it and called back with the response “the camera is working as it should, and that I should talk to Apple”.

Well, the problem is with the way the Canon EOS plug-in works, so sounds like Canon doesn’t want to support the software they wrote.

    Jeremy,
I would like to use the PVM-14L5/1 to monitor a SD JVC D-9 deck(480i), a Sony HDV deck(1080i and 480i)), and the KNOA LHe(multiple format). I would like to route the component outs of all these sources to a passive selector, and then onto the PVM. The question is, will it support these various signals without the optional HD input board–to which I think you answered “yes”.
The second question is–As I switch through these various component signals, will the PVM automatically detect the resolution and aspect ratio? Or, will I need to go into a menu or use front panel buttons to tell it what kind and size of signal I am sending?
I’m guessing that if it is like older PVMs, I will at least have to use the 16:9 button when going between a SD and HD(1080i) source. Or will I??

So does the PVM-14L5/1 auto sense a HD signal on the analog component input and auto scale and letterbox to fit? I’m thinking of using it to monitor a KONA LHe and Sony HVR-M15U.
