The only solution I have found is to change the date of the computer to before 11/6 when the time change occurred and batch the clips that were ingested before the time change, and then change the date back to the current date and batch the clips that were ingested after the time change.
The best way to determine is to look at the creation date of the proxy files in the Capture scratch folder.
I have tried adjusting the timecode in FCP and through a metadata editor but both result in clips that can not be re-ingested correctly. Still looking for a fix.
BTW, Canon support looked into it and called back with the response “the camera is working as it should, and that I should talk to Apple”.
Well, the problem is with the way the Canon EOS plug-in works, so sounds like Canon doesn’t want to support the software they wrote.
