Thanks Vince, think I got it figured out… there was a bit of reverb-out at the end of the song anyway, and I was trying to extend that reverb, so I was trying to select that reverb and basically continue it. But just cut that out, and applied reverb to the silence and the beat right before the song’s own reverb… and it sounds great! Thanks again.

Thanks a lot Vince– Audition does seem the best way to go about it, and I’ve fooled around with it a bit before trying to get ‘er done. I’m afraid I’m just a little tone deaf though– or I just can’t wrap my head around audio settings. I know it varies totally depending on the tonality of the song, but could you suggest a good place to start tweaking the settings to get it to sound right? Fiddling around, I always seem to end up with either some serious clipping at the beginning of the reverbed selection, or little to no ringing effect… can’t seem to nail down both a smooth transition into a reverb that carries on for a few seconds.
Sure love video but sometimes audio makes me feel like I don’t know a thing… any tips would be most helpful!
