  • Yes, all the keyframes and remapping worked fine in Premiere, but when we dynamic link it into AE all the time remapping resets to zero. It seems to read the fact that Twixtor has been added to the linked comp, but none of the actual effects worked.

In the end, we haven’t used too much Twixtor effects in the video so we have been pre-rendering small sections and adding them back into the video which seems to work as a work around.

  • Pierre,

I’ve been working with Ben on this video project, and we were struggling with this issue for a while yesterday. It seems weird to me that you should have to do the Twixtor work in AE, especially when it is supposed to work in both apps. We did the Twixtor remapping in Premiere as we were cutting the footage to fit to music etc in an existing sequence, which would be fiddly and annoying to do (or re-do) in AE.

It seems almost pointless to have the function available in Premiere when, if you use it and then need to send it across to AE the data is lost.

I’m not trying to start arguments or anything here, I’m just trying to understand the workflow better.

    Thanks
