A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Ben Estabrook specializes in capturing dance on camera. In the past year, the major dance film festivals across the US premiered films that he shot: "Veronica & Vincent," "Reflections," and "since you went."
Dance film distributor TenduTV has selected "The Nightingale," a film he shot in 2010, as part of its Essential Dance Film series. He worked in Scotland with Katrina McPherson on her latest film, "The Time it Takes" (2012). His work on the theatrical version of "Reflections" was nominated for an Izzie in 2011 for Outstanding Achievement in Visual Design. In 2010, he worked with Victoria Marks and Margaret Williams on "Life Study #1."
