  • By reading your post I assume you are using Jpgs instead of video, but I think that you should create your sequence according to standard video formats.

    If you want to go higher than 1080p there are some 2k and 4k sequence presets. There won’t be any TV with higher res than 4k in many many years to come because there is not even one in the consumer market right now. You will be future proof on 4k for sure.

    *Tip—–Your video will be more attractive on 16:9 aspect ratio (although is not a rule, many people prefer this aspect ratio for videos, and is currently the HD devices trend)

    I don’t understand why you need Ken Burns for a time lapse, but I understand how much keyframe torture will require to match your movements on a different sequence setting.
    My advice for that would be to do all of your work in a 4k sequence, or the higher setting that your pictures can fill. After you finish everything, just export in different flavors(4k, 2k, 1080p, 720p etc)

    Maybe you should try making the comparison side but side. But I have pushed the 7D in low light conditions and I don’t think the 60D can do as good as the 7D.
