Great thanks so much a lot of good info here. Are there any forums that are specifically related to video DSLRS?

So for these cameras do you need specific lens or will any old 35mm lens mount on them (without an adapter)? Thanks again!

My friend is getting one and I want to use it for an upcoming video project!

    Sequence Settings:
    HD (960×720) Compressor- DVCPro HD720p60

    Image Format: .jpg

Yes I am using keyframe motion and I am using a chroma key filter to remove the original background of the images.

I am playing back to a 720p monitor (aja kona 59.94 8 bit). If thats what you mean by final output.

    Thanks again for your help!

So clearly there were some mistakes made. I am a student intern doing the editing for a web commercial for this. My boss set up the filming. I think I’m going to keep it as is, and give it that sort of “raw” look if you know what I mean. Thanks for all your help guys!

Ha I know. Its a long story. Ok but how about this. We filmed the guys installing the components. I want to do some stop motion so I will only use shot that they are not in.

Now, could I use a garbage matte to put black over everything in the background? Thanks.

Ok wow I guess I missed that. Let me know what you suggest to take out everything but the white backdrop and the foreground. Thanks!
