Hi,
Have you added some scripts, plugins, or something else? And does after effects turn on after you receive that message? Are you on Windows or MAC? Which version are you using? Have you changed any settings? Did you try to reset them? Here is how. While after effects is starting hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). And it will take a longer boot. After it turns on, there can be the message again, but restart it and see if it is not there.

Hi,

After I used AutoTrace in Adobe After Effects, my path had many vertexes (the connected points to create a path). I had a vertex on any pixel connected around my shape to create my path. So what I did is to add tolerance which made the number of vertexes less. Then the message disappeared. Then I got the problem. If I have too many vertexes, the path will not work and you will get that message. If you add more RAM or something else, that will not make it allow you use too many vertexes. Hope that will help.
