    I looked again or the codec as you said and finally found what it was: My footage was Apple Pro Res, but my sequence was in H264 because it was a “save as…” from another sequence. That was causing the problem. I changed the settings to Apple Pro or Animation an the pixelation disappeared.

    Just to show, it looked like this.

  • Hi Shane, thanks for the response.

    I’ve tried with a source video of H264, Apple Pro Res and Animation. I get the same pixelated result when adding the CHV Dead pixel. Only when I add it, when I do the export without it, I get a good looking video. Never happened before.
