If you’re “LOOSING” ( it’s really “losing”) light because of a high shutter speed, then use *more* light, to make up for it!!! ( I think!)

I won’t knock pre-amps, but for those of us who has been previously ignorant of the concept, “post-amping” worked just as well, imho:

I would still go with dual-system sound because at the end of the day, you want the extra peace of mind that DSS can afford….
