    Sorry for coming back to this topic now.
    I used Premiere in the past, and this “principle” for creating transitions seems rather counterintuitive to me…
    Why have I to manually trim the end and/or teh beginning of the two clips? The program has all the necessary information to create the transition if clips are sufficiently long.
    maybe the “rule” is that the final duration of the result should be the same as the sum of the durations of the two single clips (that’s why they need to be shortened), but still I don’t understand why to complicate things!
    I like very much DaVinci Resolve, but I can’t really fully understand this strange behavior. Why isn’t this procedure necessary in Adobe Premiere, for example?
