    Thanks for the information.

    This morning I reopened the Library I have been working on. That changed the list of events and projects that are available where, just as the first person mentioned, I simply double clicked on the desired project and it appeared in the timeline.

    Based on the above I believe the problem isn’t with the preferences but rather the operator.

    Now I’m hitting my head against an audio problem. I’ll put that up on the forum in a seperate post.

    I don’t recall the PSD files having a sequence icon. So, something may be going wrong. In the meantime I’ll try your suggestion for a work around. Thanks.

    Hi Richard:

    I’m using CS3, standard edition, on the PC. When I go to: Edit>Preferences>File Handling, I see a number of options, but nothing to do with Mac compatibility. There is an option for “Maximize PSD and PSB file compatibility.” I have that set to “ask” and I do save the files for FCP with the maximum compatibility. Is the Mac option somewhere else in the standard CS3 version? Thanks.
