Anyone want to take a stab at this?
Start frame of all comps to be x
Or at-least be able to drag an image sequence into new comp taking on the attributes of frame numbers.
2016 seems like the year to make this work for users!
Maybe even a Global default.

Just say no to zero frames.

Thanks so much.
I looked at your script and than figured out what the preexisting script is using for names and was able to really just ad that last line of code to each solid using their specified names.

So with your help I was able to modify the current script and ad to it using your formula.

It is pretty cool you can do that…

This works perfect and I like how you only set the width property to a value. This way I guess it does not matter what the aspect ratio is, this will maintain it with out squeezing it. Thanks!

I spent so much time trying to figure out how to toggle this and it was a set value of 2. Ha. How is one suppose to know it is not a true or false? Well day two of coding so this is really cool! Thanks again Dan.
I tried to run the gimmeprops to read the property names. That script will not run for me? I am sure I am doing something wrong

Maybe there is an expression that can read the source frames so I can burn them in?
Anyone know? Or can point me in the right direction?
I am open to not using AE CC 2014, possibly a diff software solution. After Effects may not be capable of this feature?

Again thanks for the math on this, makes since. This helps for many future PARs I come across.

I really wished I knew these specs prior to doing everything in square pixels.
Now if I were to reverse engineer this, I am curious if you think it is salvageable, seems like starting with a square pixel comp would translate to the tops and bottoms being cropped off. But for kicks since I did not start with the proper PAR. I would need to blow it up right?
