Hey thanks for the reply Jeremy, I will check out that download, seems like it will save a lot of time, even though I have been having fun discovering things using the pan crop tool. Still trying to fully understand the key frame characteristics of: linear, fast, smooth, sharp, and hold. But I guess in time and practice I will finally wrap my head around it. I did have one other question, since the stills are JPEG am I limited to using the NTSE DV 720×480 preset? or can I use another. What would a professional use? I don’t really understand what you said about the image size I know how to resize the image in photoshop, what size would you suggest to be optimal. again thanks for the info…

    thanks for your input dse,

if you could bear with me there are a few things I can’t quite wrap my head around yet…

Q: which video template in project properties should i use for digi beta?

Q: and what is the process for capturing just the events used in my project? Would I use the info in the “Edit Details” window and capture manually (clip by clip, tape by tape” or is there a way to automate the capture.

Q: then once i’ve captured all the targeted digi-beta source material. I would just open my veg. project file and all the new digi beta source material will open in the
vegas time line … along with and including any transitions, and sound effects? … Is this Correct??? (it sounds to easy)

    Cause that would be great….!

This would be my first time attempting to do this, so i’m alittle above my station here, but if it’s possible to get a clean digi-beta cut using vegas. then I’ll be using vegas for a long while.

    thank you for any input

    all the best
