Can not access inspector, file browser, add behavior in motion 3.0 using final cut

Appreciate the DVD on dvx100… however, i am a newbie and frustration sets in quickly… I really like the film look with cool widescreen (narrow)… the best way to accomplish this on final cut studio 2 is? Also, when shooting interviews in squeeze mode is it best to shoot loose? I am using the same cool widescreen look with the interviews also…

also, while i have you… what is a good consumer mini dv camera to use for playback on the cheap but w/o issues… having issues with my canon zr 700

thanks again, just one other ? after doing that i would just crop to my desired look… also, when in squeeze mode is it best to shoot interviews not as tight, so you won’t just have a tight face in the box

ok, budget constraints demand that i use a consumer mini dv camera… what are some things i should look for when purchasing one, because the one i am using now – canon zr700 (my girlfriend’s) – has a delay in audio when i capture footage… i am editing in final cut pro 5

have you ever tried to use a mini dv camera as your record source… i am in a bit of jam and would like to use a camera that i don’t use for shooting to capture a project in final cut… just asking, thanks

i am terribly confused. want to shoot 16:9 with dvx 100b… do i get that with squeeze or letterbox
