I actually did not shoot the second camera footage and have no idea what kind of camera it is. I also have no idea how to transcodel to a FCP realtime codec before editing.

Yeah, but after transferring and reconnecting everything, AND putting all media on drive C, THEN making drive C my scratch disks, will everything be good to go?
