PS: I tried messing around with tsMuxer a bit more and keep finding puzzling results. I only muxed the first four source files this time around (the H.264 video codec, and the DTS-HD Master Audio track, the DTS audio track, and the AC3 audio track). When I play the final product using Windows Media Player, it works perfectly. When I import it into Vegas, the video track appears to not work at all whatsoever (it’s just black – no picture appears). When I click “play,” the computer just hangs up.

Not sure what would cause this – but tsMuxer definitely appears to give the best results, up until I import the file into Vegas that is.

  • Hey Aaron! Thanks for the help! Turns out I believe I may have resolved the issue – I have been rendering using the AVCHD 1920×1080-60i Codec. However, I had forgotten that a few months ago, I changed the quality of my videos on my video camera to 1440 x1080; so I just rendered the video using the AVCHD 1440×1080-60i Codec. This seems to have fixed it. Do you think the fact that I previously rendered the footage in the 1920×1080 Codec could have caused a problem like I described, or did I just get lucky now?

Thanks so much again for your help, I really appreciate it!
    Tony
