    I think he has a point….AE is jut not for realtime….like you can do record 1 min footages from you camera and than add a couple of plugins and presets to come up with an animation clip….put it is still a clip…i;m talkin about an entire coverage of 30 min…it runs very slow on AE and i dont want to do RAM view while i’m adding some graphic to it….its just very slow…

    i did read the manual, tried eveything purge temp folders, modifying the resolution, nothing works…:-(

    i’ll try premeire pro.

    yes i hit the space bar to preview….RAM preview is faster but than again RAM preview….starts the preview from the begining…so what if i want to preview from the middle of the composition.???

    i have vista do you think going back to XP for AE 7.0 will help me with teh performance????
