  • So this is in late response to your efforts, but something simple that may be causing the issue is your playback quality. On the bottom right hand corner below your clip in the window there is a dropdown that has options for “Full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/16” I had a very similar problem and realized that i simply had it set to “1/4” so the video was only playback at 1/4 of the original quality. My footage looked interlaced as well, and was choppy and overall looked terrible (i was also filming in progressive 1920 x 1080) and this fixed the quality entirely. not sure if that could even be the problem, but it might be worth a shot.
