    Hello Bill
I’m really interested in the idea that DVDs are old technology. I wish my clients thought so too. Any ideas on how to persuade them they don’t need DVDs?
If my client wants to share my videos with people inside their organisation or with customers what should I suggest they do instead?
I guess I don’t really understand what the alternative is. Would appreciate your thoughts because if I never have to burn another DVD I would be very happy.
    Cheers,

    Jerry
I tried this and audio is still out of sync.
However I did use Quicktime uncompressed and then used Mpeg Streamclip to export as MP4 and it seems fine.
    Many thanks

    Thanks Michael.
There is nothing other than 48khz – HDV 1080i60 frame size 1440×1080. The only other material I edited were some jpegs of logos at the beginning and end.
    I’m puzzled

    Hi there
Thanks for responding. I shot it in HD and I used easy set up for HDV. I just tried saving as a Quicktime movie and then using MPEG streamclip to export as MP4 and this seems to have worked but I’m curious why the glitches when I used Quicktime Conversion.

Yes it is in DV mode. I actually just found another thread here which seems to have solved my problem. It involved playing the tape via the camera, switching device control in capture setting in the log and capture window to non-controllable device. Then closing log and capture window – keeping tape running. Then reopening the window and you can see the tape playing in the window. Then change the setting back to Firewire PAL and suddenly you have control again. Seems a bit of a fiddle and I’m not sure I understand why it works, but it does. So thanks v much. I have solved a lot of problems here in these forums. So glad you’re here.
