As I suspected originally, I think at this point it was a glitch because several hours later now I can move the layers in the way I was trying. I was moving layers (stacking order, or what’s on top) in the project pane. Sorry for not being specific enough.

I’ve actually already been through your tutorial and was planning on styling it as such! LOL! Yes! Thank you because your tutorial gave me the idea that I could do something like this!

I like your artistic aesthetic and hope you do more tutorials!

Attempting to move layer the way you move layers, click to highlight, then drag, in the most basic sense.

Hiya,

I’ve tried to apply a behaviour to a whole group and it’s not letting me. I’m wondering if I need to use a mask or clone or something? What I’ve got is a series of text and pics that fade in at various points in the time line. But I want the whole thing to motion path off screen together. How is this done? Do I have to go through the twenty odd items and make twenty-odd individual motion paths?

the concept detail is really irrelevant. There aren’t words missing. I’m sorry I’m new at this. What I did was take some cartoon smoke and move it around the screen using a bezier and recording it. I’d like for text to come out of the smoke as it moves, i.e. looks like the text emanates from the smoke as it moves around the screen and settle into a stationary line of text. Is this possible? Or am I dreaming?
