Hi Sam, you look like you know what you are talking about. I have the newMBP also and am experiencing dramas as my MBP does not see it. I have got the latest firmware update from MOTU – i have the MOTU ultralite 2 (not MK3) and still it does not t see it.
I have a 400 – 800 adaptor as the MOTU is 400 and it is connected to my 800 slot.
Have you or anybody else got any suggestions?
BTW, when I plu the MOTU in i can switch it on as it is powered by the connection . Speakers and everything else comes on but the Audio MOtu Sept up console doesn’t launch like it did last week onmy old G4 17″ powerbook.
